Dr. Ganesh Kame is a distinguished academician and structural engineering expert currently serving as Professor and I/C Principal at M. H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering. An alumnus of the prestigious IIT Bombay, he holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with deep research specialization in structural analysis, design methodologies, and system validation.

With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Kame is known for his strong leadership and commitment to academic excellence, driving accreditation processes, and curriculum reforms in technical education. He has served as Convener and Member on multiple University of Mumbai committees, contributing to the revision and modernization of engineering syllabi. Under his leadership, the college has witnessed academic innovation, enhanced research output, and strategic growth in student and faculty development.

As a researcher, Dr. Kame has authored numerous scholarly publications indexed on Google Scholar in the areas of earthquake engineering, structural safety, and construction methodologies. His professional repertoire also includes consultancy in design vetting, proof-checking, and methodological validations for civil engineering structures. Recipient of INSDAG 1st, 2nd, & 3rd National Award, Government of India..

Mentoring for Internship Programmes and Training
  • Played crucial role in arranging Internship and training program for seven students of final year civil engineering at MMRC’s ongoing Metro development project in Mumbai city. Students received knowledge about practical applications of prestressed concrete, working of Tunnel Boring Machine, etc. Students also received the Certificate for the same after submitting the reports. (2018)
  • Arrangened Training cum Awareness program on Intellectual Property Right (IPR) for students (Jan. 2019).The program included copyright, patent filing, trademark procedure and much more The resource person was Mr. Govind Sharma, retired Chief (P&A) from National Research Development Corporation (An Enterprise of Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India), New Delhi.   • Department of Civil Engineering, M H Saboo Siddik college of engineering, conducted the One Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Intellectual Property Rights” on 19th January, 2019. The program included copyright, patent filing, trademark procedure and much more.
