Dr. Nilesh Ghongade is an accomplished faculty member in the field of Mechanical Engineering, currently serving as the Head of Department at M. H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering. With over 23 years of teaching experience, he has made significant contributions to technical education through effective classroom engagement, research mentorship, and academic leadership. His areas of expertise include biomechanics, product design, CAD/CAM, and sustainable engineering practices. He has been actively involved in curriculum revision, NBA accreditation, and has delivered expert sessions at various academic platforms. In addition to his academic contributions, Dr. Ghongade is deeply invested in impactful interdisciplinary research. His collaborations with healthcare institutions such as Sancheti Hospital and Bombay Hospital have led to notable advancements in biomechanics and assistive technologies. He has received multiple research grants, published extensively in reputed international journals, and presented his work at conferences in India and abroad.
