Assistant Professor and Coordinator CSE(IOT CSBCT)
Samana Jafri is currently serving as the Coordinator of Computer Science and Engineering (IOTCSBCT) and Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at M.H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering, Mumbai. With over 18 years of teaching experience, she has contributed significantly to both academic and institutional development.
She holds an M.Tech in Embedded Systems from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, Navi Mumbai, under the guidance of Dr. Gajanan Birajdar. She has an extensive teaching portfolio that includes over 15 subjects such as Microprocessors, Embedded Systems, Operating Systems, Data Structures, Big Data Analytics, and Artificial Neural Networks.
Her academic journey has been enriched with contributions to curriculum design, having contributed to syllabus framing in alignment with NEP 2020 guidelines and active participation in NAAC and NBA accreditation processes as a Criterion Coordinator. She has served as a reviewer for IEEE-affiliated conferences, coordinated and organized more than 40 seminars and workshops for students and faculty through the Institute Innovation Council (IIC). She has also served as a university paper setter and examiner, and played key roles in departmental administration and academic development.
