Dr. Ravindra Patil is an accomplished academician and Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at M.H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering. With extensive experience in research and teaching, he specializes in image processing, digital signal processing, and embedded systems.

Dr. Patil has contributed significantly to the academic and research landscape through his prolific output of over 25 publications in national and international conferences and journals. He has also authored two books with LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing. His research primarily focuses on content-based image retrieval (CBIR) and wavelet transforms.

In addition to his academic pursuits, he has organized and participated in numerous AICTE-ISTE approved STTPs and workshops, delivered invited talks, and has mentored student startups. He is also actively involved in institutional responsibilities as NISP Coordinator, NBA/NAAC Committee Member, Assistant Exam Controller, and EDC Cell Coordinator.

Appreciated on behalf of Texas Instruments for Highest number of students registered under his guidance for the MooC -Embedded Design Systems on NPTEL Platform and also for the MooC Exam. Appreciated three times as a active SPOC by IIT Bombay.
