Dr. Adil Khatri is a dedicated academician and researcher currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities and Applied Sciences at M.H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering, Mumbai, since 2015. With a specialization in Organic Chemistry, his scholarly pursuits span Diels-Alder reactions, material chemistry, and molecular synthesis. He earned his Ph.D. from the prestigious Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai, under the mentorship of Prof. Shriniwas D. Samant, a leading authority in Organic Chemistry. Prior to entering academia, he worked in the United Kingdom with GlaxoSmithKline R&D as a Medicinal and Organic Chemist, where he contributed to early-stage drug discovery projects. His research has led to publications in internationally acclaimed journals.
What truly sets Dr. Khatri apart is his holistic and student-centric approach to teaching. He is known among students not only for his academic rigor but also for his ability to simplify complex scientific concepts with clarity and compassion. He also worked at Rallis India Ltd (a Tata Enterprise) as a Graduate Trainee in formulation chemistry. Beyond his core academic duties, he serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for TCS-iON and teaches Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) to postgraduate students at R. Ruia Autonomous College. His dedication to research, publication, and student mentorship reflects his unwavering commitment to nurturing future scientists with integrity and empathy.
