Dr. Nayana Chaskar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at M. H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering, Mumbai. With over 15 years of teaching experience, she brings academic rigor and a research-driven approach to undergraduate engineering education.

Her doctoral research is focused on high-gain wideband antenna design using PRS and RIS layers, with key interests in metamaterials, EBG-based antennas, and array configurations for 4G and 5G communication. Dr. Chaskar’s academic initiatives include innovative pedagogical approaches such as flipped classrooms and project-based learning, aimed at enhancing student engagement and outcomes.

She has played key institutional roles as project coordinator, thesis mentor, examination in-charge, NAAC/NBA contributor, and curriculum developer for EXTC courses. Dr. Chaskar’s commitment to research is reflected in her patents and impactful journal publications in reputed peer-reviewed platforms including IEEE and Wiley. She is also actively involved in fostering interdisciplinary research and aims to establish funded projects under bodies like AICTE.
