Research

PhD
  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering under the Guidance of Dr. Rahul Lodha and Co Guidance of Dr.Vijay Kumar on the research topic ‘An Analytical Study of Zirconia Ceramic using milling Operational Parameters & Its Applications’

Masters
  • Optimization of Robot path planning using Genetic Algorithm – This was the research project which involved programming of a virtual robot/AGV efficient enough to find a shortest path from the start point to goal avoiding all the obstacles in between. For the optimization it utilizes Genetic Algorithm as a technique which is one of the best optimization tools available.
  • Thrust area seminar on ‘Ant Colony Algorithm’ – It is one of the evolutionary algorithms used for optimization purposes. This seminar involved an exhaustive literature review of the applications using this algorithm in Mechanical Engineering and other industries done by various researchers around the globe

Graduation
  • Garrett coiler and its commissioning Worked on the projects during In-Plant training as a trainee of the coiler commissioning team, at MUKAND Ltd. Project involved inspection of the materials produced by the coiler and report defects if any. Root cause Analysis of the defects (using the Statistical Quality Control Tools) and provide solutions to rectify defects.

Diploma
  • Kinetic Generator – Designed and fabricated a generator which generates electricity using the movement of vehicles. Movement of vehicles on the speed breaker on roads actuates a rack and a pinion arrangement. This pinion is connected to flywheel and in turn to dynamometer which generates electricity. The electricity generated can be used to light the roads during night time.
